He honed his expertise by completing a rigorous small animal surgery residency at the prestigious North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine, a program known for developing surgeons with the technical skill and confidence to perform highly intricate procedures.
Following his residency, Dr. Korani has built a distinguished career as a staff surgeon in busy private practices across the country, including in North Carolina, Texas, and Hawaii. In addition to his clinical work, he has a strong background in academia, having served as an Assistant Professor of Small Animal Surgery at Tuskegee University, where he was responsible for training the next generation of veterinarians.
